Guy Simmonds, Head of Digital Proposition, Paragon Bank
Guy Simmonds is an experienced Head of Product with 25 years of leadership across the UK retail financial services sector. His career spans Savings, Current Accounts, Investments, Protection, and Annuities, where he has consistently driven strategic innovation and delivered products that meet customer needs while unlocking new commercial opportunities.
At Paragon Bank, Guy most recently led the creation and launch of Spring Savings, a new digital savings app designed to make saving simpler, smarter, and more rewarding. Prior to this, he spent two decades at Nationwide Building Society, shaping and managing a wide range of customer‑focused propositions. He began his career in the energy sector with npower and holds a Business Management Studies degree from Bradford University.
Known for his collaborative approach, Guy has worked with cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver solutions that not only meet regulatory expectations but also outperform on growth, income, and customer satisfaction.
John Kennedy, Digital Product Owner, Paragon Bank
John Kennedy is an experienced Product Owner with 15 years of leadership across the financial services sector. His career spans Savings, Current Accounts, Customer Experience and Customer Insight, with a focus on driving strategic deliveries which seek to meet customer demands.
During his 3 years at Paragon Bank, John led on the delivery and the creation of Spring Savings, a new digital savings app designed to make saving simpler, smarter, and more rewarding. Prior to this, he spent 12 years at Nationwide Building Society, defining and leading on a variety of customer lead initiatives.
Known for translating complex concepts into clear and actionable items through a collaborative approach across the business John has worked with several cross‑functional teams to deliver on both customer and colleague expectations.
